our philosophy....

We seek to address the unowned cat population issue in Port Colborne through implementation of humane and fiscally responsible strategies including Operation CatSnips, a community Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program, SNAP, a subsidized spay neuter assistance program for cats whose owners are on a fixed income in conjunction with Port Cares and KitKat, a socialization/foster/adoption program for unowned kittens.

Our vision is of a community where no cat is killed simply due to the lack of a good home, traditional or otherwise.

Financial support is needed in order to continue to assist our community cats and is very much appreciated. Donations may be made through Canada Helps.org, a secure website that facilitates on line donations.

Please make cheques payable to Port Colborne Feline Initiative and mail to P.O. Box 132, PC, ON, L3K 5V8. Income tax receipts will be issued for donations of $10 and greater.

Donation boxes are located at the Port Colborne Pet Valu, Clarence Street Veterinary Clinic, Port Colborne Animal Hospital, Bridget's Laundro-mutt, Crew's Quarters, Yard Birds Nature Store, Independent Pet Supply, Donna's Hair Salon, Serendipity's, Minor Bros Feed in Stevensville, Dollar Store in Ridgeway.

Donations of canned and dry cat food are greatly appreciated for PC colonies as well as community companion cats in need. Donated food can be dropped off at Bridget's Laundro-mutt, 162 West St in PC.

Your refundable empties help us put a little more cash in the kitty! Please consider dropping them off at Bridget's Laundro-mutt or ProStyle Flooring 427 Main Str East in PC.
